Mining + Heritage Legal is a specialist mining law firm based in Perth, Western Australia. Founded in 2021 by Jack Cullity, we provide commercially focused legal and strategic advice to ASX-listed miners, private explorers, and energy companies operating across Australia.
This requires commercial judgement, strategic negotiation and relationships built over time, with industry counterparts and with Traditional Owner groups across Australia. The firm's multi-disciplinary team brings legal, commercial and on-the-ground experience to each matter, and provides comprehensive support across tenement access, Mining Act compliance, exploration permits, and native title and heritage process.

Founding director of Mining + Heritage Legal. Extensive experience with minerals, energy, oil & gas exploration, and mining. Director of private exploration companies. Strong relationships with Native Title Parties across Western Australia. Over 25 years of legal and commercial experience. Senior roles at ASX-listed companies in resources and commercial sectors. Worked at a leading international law firm in London. Former President of Starlight Children's Foundation WA (10 years).

Experienced in legal and commercial sectors, focusing on energy, resources, and Indigenous governance. In-house roles at Rio Tinto Exploration, Newmont Asia Pacific, and Sodexo. Strong relationships with Native Title Parties across Australia. Specialist in Native Title, supply chain contracts, joint ventures, and due diligence. Active in the WA community as a Director of Scitech and MADALAH.
